QSC Manager
The position is full-time during the sailing season of July and August and part-time during late Spring.  The Manager will work under the supervision of the Board of Director and specifically to the Chairperson of Sailing Instruction.   The Manager shall supervise the Sailing Instructors and be liaison between parents and the Board of Directors.

Minimum requirements:  21 years of age or older with a valid CT driver’s license; reliable transportation; First Aid Certified; CPR certified; Organizational, oral, written and interpersonal skills; Seamanship Certified for powerboats preferred.

Examples of duties:  Registration of all students; oversee the daily operation of the Sailing Center during sailing lessons; physically on-site at the Sailing Center from 8:30AM – 4:30PM on all sailing lesson days (Monday-Friday); Prepare sailing center curriculum; oversee the maintenance of the Sailing Center watercrafts including powerboats; maintain attendance logs of activities during sailing lessons and prepare timesheets for instructors & payroll; communicate with the Sailing Center’s Director weekly; organize away regatta driving arrangements and be goodwill ambassador for the Sailing Center.  These are examples of duties but are not limited to these duties.
