From our rustic location, members have full access to beautiful, spring fed, Lake Quassapaug. QSC hosts Snipe racing events, Open Water Swim training and races, our Sails and Trails Youth summer camp, and Adult Sailing Lessons.

Sailing, Paddling, Hiking and Nature Exploration Summer Camp.
Ages 9-17
June 27 - August 19
Sails & Trails Camp emphasizes hands-on discovery, adventure, skill building, self directed learning and working as a team to create the ultimate summer experience for your child.
The Sails & Trails Camp staff are certified sailing instructors, lifeguards, and counselors. All are American Red Cross CPR/First Aid certified. Our counselors are experienced sailors, paddlers, hikers and naturalists, eager to share their knowledge through a curriculum designed for experiential education.

Lake Quassapaug is a beautiful place for open water swimming. The lake is spring feed, rated as one of the cleanest lakes in Connecticut, and has a 5 mph speed limit on motor boats.

Snipe Racing Fleet
Snipe class sailboats have been raced at QSC since 1945. We focus on fun and host two regional regattas and weekly local racing.
Some of our members regularly compete at the National, North American and World Master Championships.
Nature Guide
Lake Quassapaug is one of the cleanest lakes in the state. We are bordered by Flander's Whittemore Preserve, 868 acres of beautiful rugged land with wonderful hiking trails. Learn more about wildlife in and around the lake with our Nature Guide
